Cooking Chapter
This blog formerly known as Cemplang Cemplang. I decided to change the name to make it understandable and familiar to everyone. Since I had been using it for almost 4 years, it attached to me personally. But I'm ready to move to another chapter of my life. I'm reading my life story book at the moment. Yes, life is like an open book with chapters in it. No one knows what will happen in the next chapter, until we read it until the end. This is one of my chapter in my book, Cooking Chapter.

Who am I ?
Feel free to call me Tika, the owner and author of Cooking Chapter, the food stylist and food photographer of all photos in this blog (unless stated otherwise). I am happily married with an awesome man I've known from High School, a proud mother of a teenager and a foster mom to a fatty cat -MIXY- and a cutie pie yellow creamy cat -PEANUT-. My life is busy (but not chaotic !) with homeschooling my son, doing house chores, blogging, photographing and make money by working as a Software QA Engineer in one of Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Distributor in Jakarta, Indonesia.

I call myself as foodie blogger by accident ! At first, I didn't enjoy cooking nor writing (I'm a terrible writer !) as much as I enjoy food photo shoot. The magic that I see through the lens has brought me to the world of food photography. It was started at the end of 2009 with a Samsung S830 Point & Shoot (P&S) camera as my tool had introduced me to aperture, ISO, shutter speed and another strange words of photography. I was instantly hooked up. As my fervent passion in photography grows, my passion in cooking also grow at the same time.

My favorite food
Without any doubt I will say "CHOCOLATE" ! I would love to try brownies recipes especially when it looks dense and moist. I also love hot and spicy food, ice cream, green tea and a big fan of mineral water. 

My photography equipments
My friend once said, "You're a late bloomer in photography". But hey.....never too late to learn something new. I never regret knowing photography in my mid-thirties. Now, with Canon Rebel XS, Canon EOS Kiss X6i, Canon EOS 70D and Fujifilm XM-1 in my hand, I play with light, colors, shadow and time, I capture and freeze moments. My other useful equipments are my Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS, Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM, Fujinon XC 16–50 mm f/3.5–5.6 OIS, Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8, Fujinon XF 35mm f/2R WRCanon EF 50mm f/1.8 II, Canon 50mm f/1.4 USM and Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro. The last three are lenses I often use in my food photography. Both of them have their own specialties, I can't mention which one is the best !

Describe myself
- I wear my glasses only when I'm driving and ironing (I love ironing and watching TV at the same time :p) and to prevent anything from getting into my eyes when I'm on the road
- No make up
- Hate high heels
- Cats lover
- Fan of big bag (so I can toss everything inside it !)
- Love to spend time in the toilet with my laptop and Wi-Fi !
